- Education : He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Private Law (2007), a Master’s degree in International Business Law (2008), and a Master’s degree in Private International Law (2009) from the University of Poitiers, France, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Contract Law at the same institution, further deepening his expertise in legal theory and practice.
- Experience : A highly experienced attorney and legal consultant, he co-founded Cabinet Avocats et Associés in 2011, where he manages civil, social, and penal law cases, along with international consultations for global companies; he has played a significant role in law reform, including drafting Djibouti’s Civil Code and editing the Sports Code Project, as well as updating the General Tax Code of Djibouti in partnership with Droit Afrique; he has contributed to the World Bank’s Doing Business Reports (2014–2016), and provided legal consulting on large-scale infrastructure projects in the port, airport, and railway sectors; with a strong academic background, he served as a professor of private law at the University of Djibouti, co-authored key publications on regional legal practices in Africa, and is a PhD candidate in Contract Law at the University of Poitiers, while actively representing the Horn of Africa in the COMESA Space Lawyer Network (ABLE
